The Sales/Education Coordinator is accountable for achievement of sales objectives for assigned doors. The SEC is responsible for supporting the financial success and effective operation of the business within defined doors. The SEC supports the execution of sales, marketing, and education programs to maximize the productivity and increase Cast/Beauty Expert engagement in Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart.
Work with National Retail Business Executive to plan and execute the education and event strategies in assigned doors.
Maintain awareness of market trends in the region, understanding customer preferences and needs while monitoring what local competitors are doing. Provide timely communication of general business information and specific account issues with proposed recommendations to the National RBE and respective RDE.
Positively impact the performance of Clinique productivity by implementing marketing and education initiatives working a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month.
Build productive relationships to secure the involvement of Director In Charge/Beauty Boutique Managers to review sales performance, business strategies, stock levels, visual merchandising assortment, mix of business, and top SKU list so that performance objectives and consumer expectations are met. Communicate any opportunities to respective RDE.
Lead execution of Education programs for assigned Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart doors.
Establish and foster relationships within Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart to influence the implementation of regional/national events and sales initiatives.
Lead strategies to orientate and inspire Cast Members and Beauty Experts.
Work with RDE to identify opportunities for additional education and events in assigned doors.
Engage Cast Members and Beauty Experts to support and sell the Clinique brand for sustained growth in key categories.
Measure in store effectiveness through sales metrics to impact the business on every visit.
Monitor ability to engage and elevate the skill and motivation of Cast Members to maintain above average Love Scores.
Analyze sales figures—overall sales, mix of business, and competition, interpreting trends to support planning.
Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
The candidate should have management experience, be self-reliant and have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Strong selling, planning and communication skills are necessary. Experience as a Clinique Consultant or Counter Manager is a plus.
Ability to work scheduled work days from Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday and Monday as the allotted days off. This may be subject to change for certain weeks based on business needs.
