Training Needs / Internal and External including: Communicate with Retail Operations staff to facilitate artistic and product training for all M* A* C Artists, help identify the Retail training needs,

Employee Management including: recruitment, conducting interviews and hiring of training staff; conducting job

orientations; evaluate job performance of employees and promote an environment which motivates staff to

achieve excellence; recommend and complete promotions and terminations (subject to approval of National

Training Director.

Employee Developmen t including: assessment of regional needs for training; creation, supervision and

facilitation of ongoing training programs for M* A* C Artists; complete special projects as assigned by National

Training Director.

Financial Duties including: ensuring the submission and accuracy of credit card statements, expense reports and company owned asset forms; ensure regional needs are met for training equipment and maintain the security of those materials; review and approve expenditures in accordance with company budgets.

Research and Development , acting as a liaison between retail staff and the new product planning team, and evaluating proposed new products for the New Product Planning department.

Marketing, Media and Awareness Event s including involvement, organization, design and coordination of M* A* C Retail Events.


To educate MAC artists by providing them with the product knowledge, service and sales skills necessary to meet productivity goals and service standards. This will be accomplished through the following: Seminar, In-Store Support independently or accompany with S&O manager Team, Field Coach(RT &SRT), Training Coordinator and Artist/Product specialist/RT/Counter Manager development. Support all PR and Marketing activity, esp. for Make-up training and work shop. The three major responsibilities are:

1) Implement all Training Programs as assigned by the Training Manager, especially focusing on on-counter coaching.

2) Ensure all MAC Artists and MAC Area Field coach are highly professional, well trained, productive and deliver quality performance.

3) Provide innovative ideas to Training Manager in training programs to increase productivity of MAC Artists.

4) Office/seminar time: 50%, In-store time: 50%
