Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst looking to progress their career with a global leader in prestige beauty.

Responsibilities

  • Define and produce the appropriate level of detail which clearly explains the scope of works, project deliverables, timescales and costs to ensure business expectations are maintained.

  • Facilitate business workshops to drive out the requirements of the project – Producing the necessary documentation to commence design & development.

  • Effective use of Business analysis skills – producing cohesive functional requirements documents for business sign-off.

  • Manage the project team to achieve the targets set by each initiative, and support, inspire, influence and motivate.

  • Implement effective governance, issue and risk management.

  • Provide direction and guidance that allows project team members to develop clear definition of project activities and deliverables.

  • Manage internal / external resource to ensure effective project delivery.

  • Creates and monitors the detailed project plan(s) utilising both IS & Business to produce a combined plan.

  • Day to day management of the project team(s) IS & Business

  • Implement Issue resolution and consequence management, appropriate to the project.

  • Management and reporting of the financial aspects and budget control for project

  • Implementation of best practice and right first time approach within the project

  • Liaison and management of third parties and other areas of the business to meet the common goals of the project

  • Escalation route for resolutions for all parties involved in the project, encouraging solutions and mitigating activities from the team.

  • Ensure test plans for keys stages of the project are in place, with the required success criteria defined.

  • Provision of reports to ensure effective communication of status, project progress and escalation.

  • Effective management of 3 rd party development partners & stakeholder management.

  • Ensure appropriate quality assurance is in place.

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Experience of working in global and matrix organisations

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Must be Prince 2 Qualified

  • Flexible to travel 20% of the time across the UK.

  • Must have substantial experience working in Retail with a good track record of executing and delivering key business & IS projects

  • Strategic and commercially astute with strong business influencing skills

  • Ability to initiate and lead the changes that drive success.

  • Strives for Excellence in Execution: Proactively seeks ways to improve personal and organizational effectiveness to meet current and future business needs.
