MAC have an
exciting opportunity to appoint an acting REGIONALMANAGER of ARTIST TRAINING maternity cover, to work closely alongside the
Regional Sales Manager to ensure consistency in service and to drive
productivity and sales in all stores across the region.
looking for a dynamic and inspirational Manager who will work with the regional
training team to ensure brand standards are met nationally. You will be required to assist in overseeing
and facilitating the training and development of MAC Trainers and Artists in
order to achieve MAC retail and service objectives.
Ensure Excellence in Execution ofArtist Training & Development (AT&D) Fundamentals
o Maintaining MAC standards of
execution for all core training, Skills Certification and in store support by
training, observing and coaching the regional AT&D team on training
content, facilitation and communication skills.
o Overseeing the in-store follow-up
on AT&D Fundamentals to ensure training initiatives are effectively
translated into field behaviours that support excellence in service, artistry
and product knowledge.
o Leading the regional AT&D
team to achieve Skills Certification objectives through In Store Support,
collaboration with Retail Managers and coaching of MAC Artists.
o Assessing and communicating the
effectiveness of training initiatives.
o Identifying and communicating
training needs of MAC Artists to the Regional Director Artist Training.
Employee Development &Management
o Lead development and mentoring of
o Assist in facilitating training
programs to meet the developmental needs of AT&D team.
o Provide clear, constructive
feedback on a regular basis Trainers on their job performance.
Development of regional educationstrategy and lead the execution of it by:
o The RMAT will be expected to work
in close partnership with the Regional Sales Manager by working at store level
to identify training needs to ensure a tailored by-door and regional strategy
is communicated, implemented and consistently followed up for results.
o Participating in regularly
scheduled strategy planning meetings with the Regional Sales Manager and
cascading key information to field.
o Support and develop Trainers and
teams in store to ensure al MAC employees have the necessary skills required to
successful achieve brand KPIs.
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
Excellent leadership, coachingand communication skills
Proven record deliveringoutstanding training and facilitation.
Proven ability to identifytraining needs and generate focused action plan
Strong conflict resolutionskills.
Ability to function in afast-paced environment.
Management experience required,including previous experience in a similar environment.
Strong proficiency with MicrosoftOffice packages
Candidates should live withinIreland, Scotland and North East and have flexibility to travel across theregion (as far as Aberdeen to Middlesbrough)
