Summary Objectives

  • To aggressively accelerate e/m commerce for ELC brands in Travel Retail Korea.

  • To optimize the digital presence and opportunities, especially on Social and Earned media Channels to drive revenue growth

  • Lead a team of talented executives to strategize and execute the overall growth plans for Digital Function for TR Korea

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Retailer Account Relationship (30%)
  • Establish functional relationship with the Retailers’ online team and maintain the thought-leadership position that ELC TR Digital has created for itself in the industry.
  1. PreOrder E/M-commerce (40%)
  • Support brands in achieving revenue target KR markets.

  • Manage the roll out of new E/M-doors (mainly boutique sites) and manage existing doors.

  • Build and maintain the calendar of partnership programs with Retailers - customizing our marketing programs in ways to leverage Retailers strengths.

  • Educating the Retailers about our brands and digital initiatives to stay ahead of the pack.

  1. Digital Media & Marketing for Brands (15%)
  • Understand the brands’ overall marketing calendar and map them to specific digital programs and partner with brand marketing teams to plan and roll-out Digital Campaigns regionally

  • Manage digital media planning and execution

  • Own and Manage Product Data Management system

  • Managing agency relationships

  1. Consumer Engagement Social Media (15%)
  • Plan and Execute on Social and Earned media Calendar for TR Brands in KR and PRCs traveling to KR

  • Drive thought-leadership in the consumer engagement area for TR KR by leveraging retailers online and offline assets to drive EMV (earned-media-value) for the brands.



  • Min 7 years of experience luxury Brand Marketing especially in TR

  • Experience in managing a team of at least 2 people or more

  • 4 years of experience in Digital Marketing and Ecommerce, including

  • digital media campaigns: Search, Display, Mobile, Social

  • website/microsite campaigns

  • Ecommerce/ Demand generation/ Trial campaigns

  • Managing data and information on Content Management platforms

  • Experience in handling client and stakeholder relationship is crucial

  • Experience in working with digital marketing agencies and vendors.

  • Experience in Beauty/Fashion/Luxury/FMCG will be an advantage

  • Good understanding of the trends and latest developments in digital marketing world.


  • A degree in Information technology or Marketing.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English is preferred.

Problem solving: Requires the use of conceptual and innovative thinking (identfying new solutions)

Communication: Developed communication skill to discuss internally (affiliate and regional teams) and

externally (retailers)

Business Expertise: Person must have a solid background on all aspects digital marketing (traditional as

well as emerging), preferably on both client and agency side. Must be up-to-date with the latest happenings in the digital world . Must have managed agency relationship in the past. Any client management experience will be an added bonus.
