Provide guidance on all aspects of Store Design and Visual Merchandising
Identify Store Design and Visual Merchandising needs, provide feedback and recommendations.
Facilitate and supervise the correct execution of Store Design and Visual Merchandising directives set by the brands in New York
Oversee the complete design and construction process of all new doors and renovations of existing
Responsible for managing the construction budgets (CAPEX) and inform the Finance Team on the calendarization of expenses.
Track projects and coordinate with team/Distributors/ Retailers/Vendors to keep them moving forward, on budget and on time.
University degree in Architecture
5 years total experience including 3 years in visual merchandising, industrial design, interior design, architecture, store planning/design, graphic design, or related field
Strong design background with ability to follow graphic standards. Basic understanding of retailbusiness. Ability to render and communicate ideas, flexibility of vision, responsiveness to creative input and great visual sensibilities.
Independent worker and decision maker. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to obtain cooperation from all teams resulting in smooth completion of project initiatives. Ability to work well in a team environment, contribute ideas, and interact with other departments to obtain current information in an ever-evolving environment on trends, customers, market conditions, etc. Superior organizational skills to handle the details of many projects simultaneously with ability to juggle many pressing priorities with ease in a fast paced environment.
