  • An opportunity to work with the leading brands in prestige beauty

  • Be part of a globally successful company

  • Creatively and proactively bring our brands to life

The Estée Lauder Companies was founded in 1946 by Estée and Joseph Lauder. We are one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care products. We are dedicated to working together with uncompromising ethics and integrity. We encourage our people to create, to innovate, to be entrepreneurs and to strive for the best, always.

This role will require the successful applicant to work across three of our key brands; Estée Lauder, Clinique and Tom Ford Beauty.

The role includes developing and implementing a communications strategy in conjunction with the local brand teams and the New York Global Communication team. Representing our Company in our community work, organising associated events, leveraging advertising, new product launches and writing and editing press releases will be key parts of your role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Tailoring brand stories and working with local digital influencers to drive e-PR campaigns;

  • Coordinating the Brands’ influencer relationships and earned media activities;

  • Helping to define the “right” digital-traditional ratio in the overall PR mix including its budget implications;

  • Continuously seeking out new and up-and-coming influencers to represent our brands;

  • Conducting post analysis ROI for events and activities.

Our ideal candidate will have operational social media and digital marketing experience. Additional experience in the following areas will count as a big plus:

  • exposure to community based marketing and e-commerce

  • strong analytical skills

  • strong communications and interpersonal skills

  • understanding of web technologies involved in digital and social platforms

You will have high standards in the work you present and an understanding of the appropriate representation of each of our brands. It is a role that requires skills across all areas of the communications and PR mix and a willingness to put your hand to anything, right to the smallest detail. You will have a number of initiatives on the go at any one time so your ability to handle multiple projects will be important.

Qualifications

Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience managing Communications/PR, preferably in a prestige product environment. This role is ideal for someone with broad experience ready to step into a stand alone role.
