PRIMARY FUNCTION

A driven and passionate individual, you will be responsible for maximizing brand’s full sales potential in all channels of distributions as well as artists’ development on-counter and personal growth. Responsible for all sales aspects from reporting to forecasting to ensuring operational effectiveness; and amplifying brand’s DNA to teach, empower and connect through education to our artistry team.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES (70%)

Ensure Retail Growth

  • Work closely with Marketing team to develop key door business strategy to drive growth.

  • Establish retail sales goals and motivate field team to achieve targets.

  • Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands brand’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

  • Work closely with Demand Planning Team to ensure accurate product forecasting and healthy inventory at stores.

  • Plan and propose sell-in and sell-through targets; and mitigation plans for shortfalls.

  • Monitoring competitors’ activities and launches and provide feedback to Marketing team.

Manage Operational Effectiveness

  • Accurate capture of customer profile at stores.

  • Ensure effective budgetary control over sales expense, returns and incentives.

  • Manage SIOP effectiveness on returns and inventory destruction.

  • Work closely with Marketing team to ensure timely executions of launches/event at stores, including VM.

  • Quarterly review of stock module to ensure healthy levels of assortments at stores.

  • Analyse and review monthly and annual sales trends and provide Brand Manager with recommendations and action plans.

  • Prepare all monthly and annual sales reports and commentaries to Brand Manager, including Regional reports.

  • Ensures timely submission of commission reports.

  • Owning recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Field team.

  • Responsible for inspiring and developing Field team, including Field Sales and Education Executives.

  • Handling of all operations and manpower issues.

Achieve Financial Objectives

  • Work closely with Business Manager to support Brand Manager with Budget/Latest Estimates planning and monthly commentaries.

  • Bi-annual store business reviews.

  • Monitoring Net Sales and NOP monthly to ensure brand is on track to achieving KPIs.

  • Responsible for Net Sales, Retail Sales and NOP.

EDUCATION (30%)

  • Work closely with Brand Manager to ensure there is consistency in service and customer experience, and to increase productivity and sales in all stores.

  • Adapt and execute education strategies, programs and activities to ensure the service provided to customers is in-line with the Brand.

  • Drive service standards and alleviate artistry through coaching/feedback.

  • Ensure brand’s CRM objectives are me.

  • Conduct strategic follow up of classroom education to ensure successful roll out of training initiatives in all stores.

  • Liaise regularly with Brand Manager and Regional Education to identify in-store coaching opportunities and development needs.

  • Prepare monthly reports on Artists’ development (gap analysis), visitation reports, How To’s tracking.

  • Assist in recruitment and provide an atmosphere that motivates, encourages, and challenges sales team for optimum performance.

  • Maintain the brand image at stores via personal grooming of Makeup Artists and store merchandising.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENT

  • Degree in Business Management or equivalent (coupled with Diploma in Training & Development would be an advantage).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Lead in a fast-pace retail/sales company.

  • Some experience/background in Training, preferably with artistry skills.

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, able to interact with all levels, especially with the Field Artistry team and Field Sales and Education Executives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

  • A team player with great interpersonal skills.

  • Well-organized, detailed-minded, a go-getter.

  • Good with Excel and Power Point for reports and presentations.

  • Good sense of responsibility, able to work independently.
