Position Summary:

 

Supports the Retail Manager in leading the team to achieve all customer service and sales targets. Carries out administration and housekeeping duties to ensure operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

 

Customer Service (Builds Collaborative Relationships) 

  • Leads by example and uses exceptional artistry and communication skills to ensure that each customer receives a personalized high touch experience which surpasses her needs and delights
  • Educates the customer by teaching them how to execute the look
  • Enhances the service by passing on information about the latest beauty news and trends
  • Provides personalized after sales service to the customer with recommendations/event invitations in line with their interests to increase customer loyalty
  • Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with colleagues, peers, management, host retailer / mall management and all internal and external stakeholders
  • Keeps up to date with beauty and fashion news and trends, celebrity product/brand endorsements (beauty bloggers, brand e-commerce sites) to help drive a seamless consumer journey across all channels and shares these insights with the team
  • As required, resolves internal and external  customer issues and requests, in an efficient and timely manner
  • Supports the Retail Manager by fully endorsing their leadership style, vision and directions to ensure a united Management Team
  • Treats others with dignity and respect

Leadership and Development (Develops Talent and Capabilities)

  • Collaborates with the Retail Manager and the Artist Training and Development Team to lead, develop and motivate all team members to consistently deliver personalized high touch customer experience and operational excellence to deliver the business plan 
  • In the Retail Manager’s absence ensures that all directions are followed

Operational (Strives for Excellence in Execution)

  • Supports the Retail Manager, as directed, withal administration, scheduling, sales reporting, inventory management and any other operational duties; ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Supports the Retail Manager in aligning and engaging the team to ensure compliance with attendance and timekeeping, grooming, merchandising standards and all policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • A minimum grade 12 education
  • College degree preferred
  • Cosmetic experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment including evenings and weekends.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner
