Aveda Research Salon Intern (Cosmetology License Required)

Position Summary:

Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Research Salon Intern to assist Salon Researchers in product testing.

Each Aveda employee will practice an individual commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the workplace. We aim to steer society in a more sustainable direction for our benefit and the benefit of generations to come.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Salon Technicians in hair color testing, whichmay include hair color application as well as to cleanse, condition and drymodels for evaluation.

  • Assist Salon Technicians with product applications for hair caretesting including shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment and styling aids

  • Insure that proper paperwork is completed for model record keeping.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of his/her assigned work area and the overall cleanliness of the salon following the Minnesota Cosmetology State Board Rules and Guidelines.

  • Participate in large scale testing and demonstrations as required.



Cosmetology license required

Experience :

None required


  • Knowledge of Aveda products a plus.

  • Basic computer knowledge required
