Position Summary:

Executive Director, Campaign/360⁰ Team will lead the strategy, creative, and activation ideas for global campaigns on key launches and brand initiatives. This position must be skilled at interpreting insights, working with creative to develop BIG ideas, and adept at fleshing them out across channels/mediums to span the full 360 consumer journey. Because this is a global role, managing through influence will be KEY—balancing feedback from regions, securing buy-in, and motivating excellence in execution. This position is a leader of people as well as an individual contributor, who will coach & develop their direct reports. They will also need to be comfortable presenting ideas to senior leadership and to the organization more broadly.

Job Description:

Help set strategy for key campaigns/launches/initiatives – using business acumen to help frame up issues/barriers/needs that the campaign will solve for

Work with insights sources from around the organization (CI, social listening, etc.) to un-earth consumer motivations that will lead to compelling, breakthrough ideas. Use knowledge of insights types (quant, qual) and understanding of methodologies, limitations etc. to incorporate into brief.

Write briefs to kick off campaign work that are crisp, clear and motivate the best creative ideas from partners (internal & external)

Maintain strong working relationships with creatives while managing to get the BEST work out of them

Evaluate creative ideas to ensure that they are on brief, have business driving potential, and represent BIG ideas (that touch the hearts & minds of consumers) and have “legs” (to work regionally, to translate across various communication mediums, and to span various product launches/timeframes)

Understand how creative idea will unfold/play out across various channels including digital, social, native, etc (and work with internal and external SMEs to develop a fully-fleshed out 360 activation plan that is cohesive, yet not “matching”).

Use superior cross-functional coordination skills to secure buy-in from regions and incorporate feedback into campaign development, while preserving the integrity and power of the creative idea.

Direct team (in some cases handle personally) legal approvals & negotiations to both manage risk but also uphold key campaign ideas—understand legal climate and how to ideate within it, and develop strong contingency plans where necessary

Closely follow campaign launch to ensure regional execution and understand opportunities for learning/improvement

Use knowledge of data & analytics to inform future campaign iterations (absorb data, synthetize relevant points, and optimize accordingly)

Lead and coach team members on skills & behaviors needed to excel in this position, and display “executive presence” when presenting ideas to senior leaders, regional heads, etc.


Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)

Minimum Years of Experience: 15

% of Travel Time: 15%
