Lean Training Coordinator
Position Purpose: Support the Blaine manufacturing site to help drive “Lean” initiatives and maintain all necessary documentation. Administrate the creation, revision and storing of all MFG departments standard operating procedures and associated training documents.

Each Aveda employee will actively participate in the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program and is required to follow all safety practices and procedures.
Description of Duties:
Work with manufacturing teams to identify and implement Lean opportunities using a creative and data driven approach.
Document Lean activities and initiatives. Assist in the maintenance of the project hopper including cost savings and achievements.
Organize and track project charters and tri-folds in a share point system.
Administrate the creation, revision and filing of SOP’s for Manufacturing areas.
Assist manufacturing training documentation activities. Responsible for documentation of employee training activities, retention and updates to employee training documents.
Learn and follow Aveda/Estee Lauder Environmental, Health and Safety policies as well as all OSHA rules and regulations.
Conduct monthly status updates pertaining to training documentation.
Other duties as assigned
Education: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, with two year business or technical degree preferred.
Experience: 2 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing work environment
Others: Good communication, multi-tasking skills and inter-personal skills are a must. Data entry and system administration skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and familiarity of manufacturing systems.
