Manager, Global Communications and Influencer Relations
Manager Global Communications is responsible for the management and implementation of the Global Communications and Influencer strategy and the development of global communications and influencer strategy tool kits and press materials. This position also manages day to day communication with Domestic and International Affiliates, the cascade of global strategies and the sharing of best practices from around the world.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the implementation and execution of the Global Communications and Influencer strategy.
Develop turnkey global communications and influencer strategy tool kits for 360° campaigns and new product launches.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute major global projects and events (i.e. Fashion Week, Earth Month, Aveda Congress, etc.).
Conduct research to help identify Global Influencer opportunities. Support the ED with day to day management of Global Influencers.
Develop story ideas and content for the monthly pitch/media outreach calendar. Maintain and distribute the Global Communications/Pitch Calendar.
Develop press materials including conducting relevant research and writing press releases for assigned projects.
Maintain all press materials and images on the ELC press room website to provide markets with ongoing access to the latest press materials.
Field media inquiries and draft responses and statements as necessary.
Manage day to day communications and service requests for all Domestic and International Aveda Affiliates. Compile and disseminate regular PR recaps to the field.
Schedule monthly calls with Regional and Affiliate PR teams to cascade strategies, review dashboards and KPI’s and share best practices. Prepare and distribute the agenda and materials for the calls.
Manage internal approval process for market created materials as needed for tie-ups, paid Influencers etc.
Compile and maintain electronic clippings, press coverage documents and Influencer reporting for tracking, brand analysis and measurement for all International markets. Prepare reports for Earned Media Value (EMV on a regular basis).
Develop department presentations for press events, internal sales meetings etc.
Manage all invoices and POs via SAP in compliance with finance procedures (including storing classified data for retrieval and reference, storing corporate management records, etc.).
Manage the department budget and reconcile cost center expenses at the end of each month.
Perform other duties as needed/assigned.
3-5 years of related experience
Digital and traditional public relations hands-on experience working with national campaigns to generate reach and positive awareness
Excellent project management, organizational and follow-up skills
Strong writing and effective communication skills
Relationship building and collaboration skills are critical
Strong understanding and experience with social media
The ability to think creatively and be resourceful
Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Experience developing brand visibility across social media channels and engaging with media and influencers
Highly proficient in the in the Microsoft Office Suite
