Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Material Handler to supply, assembly and filling lines with components and transfer finished goods out of production. Perform material handling activities in a manner consistent with manufacturing department’s goals and objectives.

Efficiently supply assembly and filling lines with components, re-cycling bins, pallets and any other needs the line may require
Eliminate accidents and continuously maintain safe driving habits
Move material in a manner that meets all quality expectations and eliminate rejections
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years production and fork truck related experience preferred
Leadership and self motivation
Innovation and creativity
Management of multiple activities
Problem solving / troubleshooting
Strong organizational and planning skills
Forktruck certification mandatory after 90 days
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift 50 pounds
