This position delivers engaging retail sales and service training to drive achievement of sales goals, service goals and retail benchmarks across channels.

  • Deliver engaging retail sales and service training to individuals responsible for sales results across channels, including free-standing stores, department stores, Institutes and salons.

  • Lead and facilitate in-store and in-salon training modules on product knowledge, service behaviors and selling skills

  • Actively coach retail and salon team members on expected service and sales behaviors on the sales and salon floor (show & repeat)

  • Provide training and education to deliver established sales and education goals for the region

  • Responsible for ownership and animation of the store/salon retail merchandising

  • Assess and evaluate results of training and coaching and create plans to drive sales and continuously improve results

  • Maintain excellent partnership and coordination with retail and salon sales teams within the territory

  • Identify top performing stores and salons and share best practices from those locations across territory and with management

  • Participate on education conference calls within region to engage network in ongoing communication and sharing of best practices

Minimum Education level: High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years experience including previous experience training in a retail environment

% Travel Time: 75%

Required Language Proficiency: English

Licenses or Certifications:

Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver retail training/education plans that drive sales results to a diverse audience

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional presentation skills including the ability to present to large audiences

  • Strong knowledge and experience within a retail environment

  • An entrepreneurial spirit including the ability to make decisions as if the business were one’s own

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance

  • Ability to travel, lift up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis and transport own luggage while traveling
