Position Summary

Performs as overall site leader for Manufacturing

Operations on assigned campus(es). Sets

the strategic plan for the entire site for multiple products, lines, and

shifts, while managing the tactics and details to lead the team to

success. Leads the group in meeting and

exceeding goals and objectives that cover People Development, Safety, Quality,

Service, New Product Launches, Cost and Productivity. Develops manufacturing operating systems and

processes that will drive continuous improvement, people engagement and

sustained result in all key factor areas.

Delivers operational improvements through the strategic deployment of

continuous improvement tools and techniques that includes Lean, 6 Sigma and

Total Productive Maintenance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Developsstrategy and manages through tactics that will deliver sustained results inSafety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost and Productivity. Works closely with Human Resources andmanages the team in a way that drives development, engagement and positiveemployee morale.

  • Effectivelymanages and deploys ELC Lean and Continuous Process initiatives in a way thatcreates sustained cultural and behavioral changes across the business,including support functions, throughcoaching, mentoring and influencing employees and business team leaders.

  • Buildsand leverages collaboration and relationships with key cross functional leadersin Quality, HR, R&D, Supply Planning, Materials Management, GBSC, GSR,Brand Leaders, and other critical stakeholders that will further and drivebusiness results.

  • Operatesthe facility in a manner that ensures adherence with all regulatory standardsin Environmental Health and Safety, federally regulated bodies in Quality, andall local regulatory requirements.


  • Bachelor's degree required;MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 10yrs. of work experience within Manufacturing-Supply Chain, including experiencein Plant Operations line management and leadership.

  • Six SigmaBlack Belt Certification preferred

  • LeanManufacturing Certification preferred

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing operations / supply chain environment

  • Proven historyof utilizing continuous improvement philosophy, tools and techniques to drivesignificant, quantifiable improvements within Manufacturing-Supply ChainOperations.

  • Proven trackrecord of driving collaboration and building effective relationships.

  • Demonstratesappropriate level of "business acumen" that will enable theindividual to create, manage, and leverage relationships with corporate andfunctions external to the site such as R&D, Quality Assurance, GBSC, GSRand key leaders within our Brands.

  • Possessesfinancial, customer service, and logistics capability so that the site is runefficiently and delivers business objectives.
