Warehouse Supervisor (Day Shift)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervises all stagingpersonnel

  • Learn and operates allwarehouse functions of WMS, NTSI and Elemco

  • Responsible for timely andaccurate closeouts

  • Responsible for reviewing themonthly financial shrinkage report, investigating discrepancies andsubmitting the necessary adjustments to finance in a timely fashion.

  • Insures departmental adherence to all company andgovernmental procedures and regulations including, but not limited tosafety, environmental and housekeeping.

  • Responsible for cycle count program and ensuring to beat or above the quarterly warehouse audit goal for accuracy

  • Understands AMAPs and IBMsystem

  • Responsible for inventoryaccuracy of the warehouse and production staging area

  • Prepares for and organizes therunning of the annual physical inventory

  • Insures customer service to alldepartments through timely movement of goods into and out of the warehouse

  • Utilizes manpower effectivelyto satisfy all department requirements

  • Handle employee relation issues

  • Ensure monthly inventoryreports are done in a timely manner

  • Negative balance report isreviewed and corrected weekly


  • College degree required - Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mfg. Engineering preferred.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Knowledge of computerized inventory systems (WMS)

  • Good communications, interpersonal and organizational skills necessary

  • ELC Systems knowledge a plus (Access, WMS, Excel, AMAPs, NTSI,)
