Position Summary

The Corporate Regional Education Manager will help bring the new cross-branded Travel Education program to life in his/her region. The C.R.E.M will partner closely with the Corporate Regional Education Director – APAC and the Travel Retail Worldwide New York Office team to ensure that relevant content is created and adapted in a manner that will be used and embraced by the regional team – verbal, printed, and digital. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that any adjustments are made to centrally-created content to ensure regional relevance and proper delivery to the field. The C.R.E.M. – APAC will report to the C.R.E.D - APAC

Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Partner with CRED and NYO team to ensure that all created and curated content is regionally relevant and meaningful.

  • Work with NYO and translation teams to ensure that all translations maintain/retain their intended meaning.

  • Advise NYO team on regionally specific topics, such as hero products and regional consumers, which might be different than as communicated by global brands.

  • Lead development of training facilitation content to ensure that training is engaging, relevant and fun and that the Sales and Education Executives are able to deliver the trainings with excellence

  • Help create content for regional social media platforms, such as Workplace @ Facebook, to encourage cross-brand engagement and best-practice sharing.

  • Be the face of corporate education in his/her region, liaising with branded Regional Education Managers to capture new information, updates, launches, campaigns, activities.

Train-the-Trainer

  • Deliver training modules (blended training and e-learning) to the trainers of the cross-branded/brand-agnostic content:the branded Travel Retail Sales and Education Executives

  • Partner with the regional Sales and Education Executives and help assess the cross-branded materials’ effectiveness and reception.Provide feedback to NYO for ongoing improvements and new content ideas.

  • Showcase how to best utilize e-learning information.Encourage full team adoption of e-learning tools and work with NYO should complications arise.

  • Ongoing monitoring of KPI’s

  • E-learning quantitative KPI’s in conjunction with e-learning lead

  • Qualitative feedback re: delivery and content

  • Sales performance

  • Help devise the optimal mix of blended training and e-learning usage

  • Develop additional ideas to drive adoption of tools and/or targeted sales outcomes

Program Administration

  • Ensure all users in region have appropriate access for their roles and that users who leave their role have their access deleted.

  • Assist branded and NYO teams in managing gratis and incentives

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Background in CPG, Beauty, Personal Care, Luxury Goods with a preference for Beauty sold through distribution channels with salespeople (Department Stores, Specialty-Multi, Free Standing Stores) as opposed to drugstore/superstore or online-only distribution

  • 8 years related experience

  • Strong preference for prior experience in regional field sales and/or education

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, especially for audiences where English is second or third language

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to be flexible and grow and change with the role

  • Need to be self-motivated and comfortable with cross-region reporting structure

  • Enthusiastic team-player with high-level of emotional intelligence

  • Ability to be flexible and grow and change with the role

  • Passion for multi-national environments and multi-cultural consumers

  • Travel approximately 30-50%
