POSITION SUMMARY:

The role is to lead the managing of the regional TR projects across APAC. The role has to facilitate the communication & negotiation with store designers, suppliers, retailers & area-sales managers to drive store renewals for all locations.

He/she is the owner to the information & status of all TR store renewal projects in APAC. And should be driven to engage the multi functional teams (MFT) across the business to deliver on time, on budget, on quality & on brand expectations continually.

He/she will serve as a lead to support our distribution initiatives within APAC. By ensuring the store renewal processes for all the locations are meeting the TR Corporate objectives & are the key enabler to review the suitability of the branded corporate distribution in new locations.

This role will report directly to the regional SDVM Director.

This is a corporate position & will be involved in managing all the ELC brands.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To lead the process for all new/renewal store & refurbishment projects across APAC.

  • To drive Annual/quarterly/monthly meeting, update & status report for all locations renewals.

  • To study & recommend process improvements & transition plans for efficiencies to existing workflow.

  • To coordinate internally and externally with all point people to make sure all installations have least complications as possible.

  • To be pro-active to take the initiative to communicate with all teams the status of production and installations.

Deliverables

  1. Cost Management process or integrating cost budgeting for all renewals.

  2. To own the Request for Quotation (RFQ) to all new locations, using the RFQ to gather bids for all projects.

  3. To ensure all invoices are submitted according to completion of project.

  4. Managing of project-specific invoices to ensure budgets are met and projects can be closed by the Finance Department

  5. Project Timeline overview for Sites & all brands in a renewal.

  6. Develop timelines with Retailer, for each project working with all locations.

  7. Drive completion of tasks according to timeline based on Multi-functional team (MFT) input.

  8. Enable visibility to obstacles in projects & identify owner to seek help from.

  9. Check Milestone/Completion to different stages of project.

  10. Partner with VM teams to ensure VM orders & systems are in time for opening.

  11. Enabling a complete vendor package briefing to the brand designers.

  12. Ensure Retailer guidelines, site constraints, ELC design differences, existing site photos.

  13. Drive shop fitter site survey & potential site analysis.

  14. Ensure early engagement with retailer or new site studies.

  15. Establish quality briefing to store design group to new site.

  16. Qualification & appointing of shop fitter to all locations, brands & renovations to existing sites.

  17. Create a strong communication bridge with shop fitter & Retailer for all projects.

  18. Ensure contracts with Shop fitters are meeting our RFQ terms of on time.

  19. Field Merchandising & People Management

  20. Facility planning & deployment of VM to field Project Management.

  21. On time execution of New store Opening.

  22. Ensuring PME are fully updated & trained to PM Workflow.

  23. Manage tasks as needed in PME scope.

Role Requirements

  • He/She will understand the technicalities of store design & visual merchandising.

  • He/She will be an excellent communicator and negotiator with sound commercial skills.

  • Strong attention to details specific to brand design & retailer site challenges.

  • Travel will be necessary to the APAC region with approximately 1525% max.

  • As this is a corporate role, constant liaison with team leader is essential for the efficient running of the department.

  • He/She will be a confident Project Manager with experience of managing budgets and meeting timelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Real Estate/Building management field. Able to read & understand technical CAD drawings.

  2. Min 1215 years of experience in project management in construction or manufacturing field.

  3. Experience working in fast-paced organization, able to communicate & multi-task with different external & internal departments to execute the completion of projects.

  4. Keen interest in the beauty industry business & lifestyle products.

  5. Sound knowledge of computer software such as MS suite, MS Project or Fast track

  6. Knowledge of CAD or Vectorworks will be an advantage but not necessary.

  7. Good command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin, is necessary.
