Responsible for the design and execution of Store Design for all brands except EL
Lead the SD team to develop high standard of Store Design based work.
Develop SD team capability through Studio based practices, to continue to fulfill demands.
Working with the head of APAC SDVM on Site Studies and assess suitability of brands to fit into new/renewal location.
Assessing of sites & studying suitability of New brand rollouts in TR APAC.
Play as an enabler of team work & project communication across stakeholders; PM, Shopfitters & Brand GMs.
Ensure the quality technical build drawings for all renewal projects in the region.
He/she has to work with the NY brand teams to ensure the Brand has properly reviewed, aligned & clarified the design input.
Collaborate with Global teams on Regional requirements.
Coordinate and develop Studio based quality drawings with team.
Support on occasion special key focus activities.
Degree graduate in Design education required; creative and has had formal training, in industrial design, exhibition design, interior design or architecture.
15 to 18 years experience in Store design.
Able to manage time to work on projects in an orderly fashion.
Communicates well both verbally and through drawing; communicates technical and design issues to average person as well as professional.
Presents in a professional manner; has an understanding of corporate image and conduct.
Has experience in interior; has an understanding of traffic flow and human scale.
Must be adaptable to Vectorworks & MAC environments.
Fully capable of understanding retail store design aspects, i.e. lighting, furniture design, detailing fixtures, etc. as well as the importance of maintaining consistency.
Able to implement sound project & people management skills.
Communicates well with others both verbally and through drawing. Able to communicate technical and design issues to markets as well as a professional.
Able to lead a team
Willing to travel and sometimes on short notice.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English language
