About the Job

Assist in the management, development and implementation of product portfolio, innovation pipeline and product marketing strategy by category and subcategory to enhance brand story and drive growth and market share gains in priority channels and regions.

About Your Responsibilities

Create innovate promotional product and brush concepts that create new business opportunities

  • Execute promo & brush category management in support of brand's strategic direction and priorities and informed by identification of recruitment and loyalty drivers

  • Carry out white space opportunities based on findings from consumer insights, social listening, CRM data and transposition from other industries

  • Execute 18 month calendar through product marketing with a focus on hero products, and brand-building channels

  • Conduct research to build business case for Product Development and lead ideation on product concept briefs

  • Prepare and present Product Concept/Program Briefs with input from cross functional teams

  • Be relentless in the use of any excess inventory within the promo category and work closely with the regions on any agility/speed to market small promotional projects

Promotional product/Brush strategy that drives business and reinforces brand equity

  • Collaborate in development of product marketing strategy for Holiday collections, GWPs, Kits, Retailer exclusives and Brushes including product architecture, product launch process and go-to-market strategy

  • Collect and analyze sales trends, category shifts, COG changes, market intelligence and competition

  • Contribute to recommendations to seize market based on analysis

  • Support mid-management in quarterly report preparation

  • Conduct ad hoc business analysis requests as needed

Work hand in hand with cross functional partners to bring new programs to market

  • Ensure key timeline dates are met

  • Develop cost of goods estimates in partnership with strategic finance and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure target cost of goods is met through the feasibility and launch process

  • Develop marketing forecast estimates and collaborate with Global Brand Planning to finalize recommendation

  • Prepare & present marketing bulletins detailing new program introduction and execution

  • Ensure Holiday programs are giftable & covetable while maintaining gross margin targets

Launch plans that incorporate 360 elements

  • Execute timely digital-first launches focused on the consumer journey within designated budget and COG targets

  • Prepare and present product briefs for top tier programs and launches and coordinate communication with Creative team

Champion, drive, and build emerging marketing trends and technology capabilities to meet customers where they are

  • Remain relentlessly up-to-date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities

  • Be a champion for the brand on ingredient transparency, sustainability and cruelty-free initiatives

Leverage key insights gleaned from a refined analytics practice to inform decisions

  • Utilize analytics and consumer insights throughout function to accomplish strategic goals

  • Use data to inform decision-making for strategy development and adjustments as necessary

Support the entire organization as point person for press samples, product comps and collateral

  • Work with cross functional teams to forecast & distribute rough comps, and press samples for all launches

  • Ensure all product comps are available at a timely manner for photo shoots, retailer needs and presentations

  • Work closely with Merchandising on all factice needs

  • Develop new marketing collateral ensuring all global needs are met each season

  • Maintain and manage all existing collateral

  • Work closely with Indirect Procurement team to execute, develop and order all items each season within budget
