As Brand Manager you

hold primary accountability for achieving brand sales, marketing and P&L

targets for MAC in Benelux. You will work closely with our affiliate's General

Manager and Regional Brand VP to define strategy, set goals, drive the

business, execute and implement plans.


and develop that brands image and position are properly maintained in

accordance with corporate standards.

  • Ensureconsistent interpretation of brand global objectives and strategies.

  • Representbrand in a professional and positive manner when interacting with staff,customers, business partners, and representatives of advertising agencies,the press, and government.

  • Monitor& Develop appropriate implementation of brand identity tools such asmerchandising guidelines, media positioning, advertising, productassortment, sales staffing, and store/ site selection.

  • Create andmaintain a network of cooperative relationships with business partners andkey customers and fashion community, including artists’ relations.

  • Developexisting stores and open new stores

  • Evaluatecompetitive challenges for brand and identify opportunities for growth andprofit enhancement.

  • Analysescompetitive activity and trends in markets, customers, products, prices,and channels.

  • ConductP&L analysis.

  • Identifyopportunities and risks, provides feedback to GM and Regional Brand VP,and develops recommendations and initiatives.

  • Manageand improve KPI on Distribution channel.

  • Work with GM and regional Brand VPs to considerglobal brand objectives to set challenging yet attainable brand sales andprofit goals for the affiliate.

  • Define product selection strategy, assortment,and pricing

  • Develop and implement plans for Marketing (incl.Merchandising) and Sales (in close collaboration with Commercial Director)

  • Collaborate with Finance Manager, GeneralManager, and Regional Brand VP to set fiscal plans and monitor budgets.

  • Propose media, partnerships choices andcollaborates and negotiates with business partners.

  • Lead activities associated with new stores andmarket launches.

  • Responsible for forecasting new products andpromotional materials

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and management tobrands staff

  • Ensure goals are set for the brand. Providescoaching, constructive feedback, development opportunities, andrecognition to direct reports and key distributor personnel asappropriate.

  • Work with General Manager, Human Resource Managerand Managers to ensure appropriate staffing and establish performancemanagement and development initiatives.

  • Ensure brand training of all point-of-sale, areamanagement, and office personnel.

  • Collaborate with Education Manager to ensure thatstrengths and skills of personnel are developed monitors training withfurther coaching and counselling as needed

  • Maintain appropriate communication within andbetween the different functional areas of the brand, within the region,and with headquarters.


  • 10 years of marketing and sales experience, preferably in the luxury/cosmetics-goods industry

  • Inspirational leader

  • Experience with retail development is a must

  • Experience in P&L management

  • Strong Analytical skills

  • Strategic mind plus strong hands-on operational temperament (field oriented)

  • International mindset

  • Excellent organizational skills – ability to work on multiple projects

  • Affinity with fashion and artist communities

  • Languages: Dutch/French/English
