As Consumer Marketing Manager , you will build the 360° marketing plan for the brand, in coordination with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Brand Management and Online teams. You will report to the Brand Manager.


  • Build and drive the 360° marketing plan across all channels

  • Drive A&P mix optimization both advertising and trade (COOP) by leveraging consumer insights and trade activations synergies

  • Defines the consumer journey(s) combining all communication and distribution channels on all consumer facing activations to offer a seamless consumer journey across channels

Key Activities

  • Derives and adapts the Global/Regional marketing strategy to maximize local relevancy​

  • Define the target consumer profile(s), adapting Global / Regional guidelines to local opportunities​

  • Translate local consumer insights into marketing and selling opportunities​

  • Defines marketing strategy based on analysis of competitive landscape and trends in markets, customers, products, prices, and channels to identify opportunities for growth and profit enhancement

  • Collects and understands best practices from region, commercial and digital team ​

  • Defines and owns the Consumer Journey(s), combining all communication and distribution channels​

  • Define the advertising and distribution mix for the upcoming year including the Paid, Owned, Earned and COOP

  • Work closely with the Retail and Visual Merchandising teams on innovation and continuous improvement of in-store consumer experience​

  • Builds the 360° marketing plan for the brand, in coordination with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing and Online teams, and defines the CRM strategy, in collaboration with online​

  • Defines and aligns on the Consumer Calendar (launches, online key moments, retailers activities) for all channels, working closely with Product Marketing, Online, Trade,… ​

  • Analyse, interpret and convert customer needs into brand strategy in a seamless way both offline and online

  • Drives campaign performance analyses​

  • Drives A&P spend allocation while in charge of A&P budget and optimization​

  • Contributes to LRP building, in particular A&P lines, with intent to maximize effective and efficient consumer-facing spend, monitoring and ensuring the best ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) ​

  • Manage the Consumer Marketing team, including Consumer Engagement and Influencer Management (ex PR)​


Professional Qualifications

  • Background in digital/media agency, consumer driven industry, and/or retail (beauty) industry, preferably luxury brands

  • We target at least 5 years’ experience

  • Broad knowledge of the digital world

  • Budget and P&L management experience

  • Financial modelling and analysis

  • People management experience and/or a talent for transversal management

  • Very strong communication skills, creative/innovative thinking, excellent team player and interpersonal skills

  • Customer-oriented, conceptual thinking out-of-the-box mindset – entrepreneurial approach is key

  • Analytical and numerate

  • Dare to dream big and can do so in long-term strategical way

  • Eye for trends and innovation both offline and online

  • Experience with driving agencies

  • Willing to travel to the Netherlands and Luxembourg
