Description

This position is responsible for driving sales, brand loyalty and brand recognition through both new business and existing business development across channels within established territory.

-Achieve sales plan through retention and growth of existing and new business engaging professionals in Aveda brand sell-through.

  • Actively engage service providers to embrace Aveda brand stories and recommend Aveda products to drive sell-through in salon and through professional influencer platforms.

-Drive new business activities and open new accounts across channels within territory

-Develop and maintain a strong new business pipeline, proactively plan for risks

-Create authentic and collaborative business relationships with teams across channels utilizing the ecosystem to support growth plans via increased referrals from Experience Centers and department stores, placement of students in Aveda network, and Omni-channel coordination of promotional activities and on-line opportunities.

-Drive stylist and advisor behaviors to achieve KPIs and leverage consumer events to drive sales

-Deliver high quality presentations and engagement activities around key products and initiatives

-Sell-in new products with accompanying sell-through strategy

-Promote Aveda Hair Color and Hair/Spa treatments to increase Aveda services in salons

-Promote educational events to drive engagement and business results

-Identify talent in salons to join Aveda Ambassador, Style Squad and Education teams

-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-3 years’ experience in sales, outside sales and salon experience preferred

-90% travel

-Beauty licensure or certification preferred

-Bachelor’s degree, equivalent experience may be considered

-Ability to partner with businesses to execute strategies that drive sales results across multiple channels

-Self-starter with a high sales drive and ability to prospect, negotiate and gain buy-in on initiatives and new business

-Strong communication and organizational skills

-Strong financial acumen including the ability to understand financial and sales reports

-Strong presentation skills including the ability to present to large audiences

-An entrepreneurial spirit including the ability to make decisions as if the business were one’s own

-Ability to adapt quickly to meet the demands of the business

-Proven ability to work in self-directed role

-Ability to work variable schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends

-Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance

-Ability to travel, lift up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis and transport own luggage while traveling
