You will be working directly with the Online Manager for Estée Lauder. The role is based in Paris in the EMEA Headquarters where you will support the Online Manager developing and implementing the online strategy across the region (25 markets) as well as working with the Global teams based in New York.
Support Estée Lauder EMEA online manager in running online business. (70% of the time)
Retail.com / Pure player support:
Support launch of new pure players and/or expansion of existing pure players
Help affiliates to build brand boutique, provide product information, assets & guidelines
Provide on-going guidance and support building OPP launch/expansion plan always on activities together with online manager & brand team
Ensure forecast are placed long enough in advance and follow brand assortment guidelines
Follow up with affiliates on estimates / budget plans
Support online manager & affiliates on already launched retail.com & OPP
Follow up with affiliates on main e-retail sales, challenges & opportunities, provide ongoing guidance to affiliates to improve e-trade plans
Follow up with affiliates on budget spent, sales on those channels to inform business manager & online manager and fuel the online strategy
Routinely check retailer.com product pages to monitor ratings and reviews, brand equity, brand placements, trade activities etc.
Support online manager rolling out features & enhancements across markets (creative refresh in FY20 for example)
Support online manager making sure regional guidelines regarding e-merch &trade activities are implemented.
Support online manager building the brand.com strategy, spotting new opportunities and leveraging existing best practices.
Occasionally provide creative brief to regional DPMO for specific programs
Forecast & supply follow up together with supply chain lead, demand planning lead & affiliates (spot too low forecast, excess etc) and propose activation plan
Reporting & analytics:
Monthly analysis of key business metrics, marketing programs, customer retention, and cost of customer acquisition programs
Provide, on a monthly basis, analysis & learnings on brand.com, e-retail & OPP activations,
Help compile information for presentations (whether it’s on brand.com / retail.com / OPP & 3PP)
Support Corporate online missions (30% of the time)
Retail.com & Pure players support
Follow up with affiliate & online business development director on launch/expansion/closures status to always have a real-time visibility
Benchmark competitor’s and ELC brands visibility & activities @retail.com &Pureplayer.com
Help build corporate reporting templates & scorecards on online pure players
Optimize features roll out across all ELC brands
Help gather best practices to share with other affiliates/brands
Min. 2 years’ experience in e-com/e-retail
Must be commercially forward thinking and a flawless attention to details
Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to work collaboratively across departments and functions
Excellent business writing skills
Experience with retailers in specialty/multi space e.g. Sephora/Douglas or pure players (e.g Zalando, Asos) is a plus
Highly organised, proactive and a flexible approach to work.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, Google analytics, BI is a plus
Understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools
Very pro-active and have the agility to be re-active when necessary
