Position Summary:

As an Advanced Color Professional within Aveda’s Technical Education team, this position is responsible for inspiring and developing the Aveda network of Artists to meet professional hair care sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and promote professional hair care education within the region

  • Execute Aveda’s professional hair care sales and education strategy by driving location level benchmarks in-salon and achieving or exceeding financial goals for the region.

  • Place Aveda hair color and treatments in new accounts and support new customers with technical orientation

  • Convert existing salons to exclusive Aveda hair color and treatments

  • Positively influence Aveda benchmarks within the salon environment

  • Plan, schedule, and track activity to measure achievement of sales growth objectives

  • Develop, mentor and retain Aveda Ambassadors and Certified Educators

  • Attend regional trainings as required

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Current Cosmetology License actively maintained while in role

Experience:

3 years Hair Color experience in a salon, understanding of Aveda hair color

Others:

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Superior customer service skills

  • Ability to understand and analyze financial sales reports

  • Computer proficiency required

  • Ability to work as business dictates including some nights and weekends

  • Extensive travel

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance

  • Ability to lift over 30 pounds and transport own luggage when traveling

  • Must reside within 20 miles of the assigned territory
