Consumer Engagement Assistant Manager, Origins, Asia Pacific
Daily management on all consumer engagement scopes and project management on classical marketing projects. Key responsibilities include:
A. Consumer Engagement (Social/digital/events/e-Commerce): managing regionally led consumer engagement programs and agency relationships, creative project management between affiliate and global teams, reviewing/fine-tuning affiliates Consumer Engagement and Influencers strategies and plans, and general assets management.
B. CRM: manage Global/Regional/Affiliate CRM projects. Directly working with Regional Corporate Marketing team to add value on all CRM programs created, KPI setting/evaluation and executed in affiliates.
C. Classical Product Marketing: assist in managing selective scopes of product marketing, including promotional marketing, pricing, visual merchandising.
This position will liaise with internal departments including Global Consumer Engagement, Global Marketing, Global Creative, Regional Corporate Marketing, Regional Corporate Online, Regional Design Centre and Affiliate Brand teams.
Review and strategize with affiliates’ marketing/consumer engagement counterparts on their annual and monthly digital/social and CRM program, while respecting Global guideline. Provide regional insights and valuable inputs to enhance thought process, KPI setting, planning, and execution excellence.
Lead the social/digital, and CRM discussion with Global counterparts and provide APAC relevant insights, and specify Regional social/digital/ & CRM assets requests in order to strengthen Global/Regional campaign.
Work with the Legal department to develop all necessary approvals.
Serve as think tank for all social/digital campaigns.
Lead & oversee Regional social/digital initiatives and campaigns.
Closely work with Regional Corporate Marketing team to provide brand insights to sharpen cross-affiliates CRM programs. Also based on CRM KPIs to strategize action plans.
Closely work with Regional Corporate Online team to review and strategize affiliates brand sites / eCommerce to ensure brand guidelines are respected, to synergize and leverage omnichannel where possible.
Support in basic classic product marketing matters like promotional marketing, marketing collaterals, pricing, etc. to prepare for future career development.
Assist in monitoring budgets assigned for digital/social/CRM programs.
At least 5 years work experience in retail industry with digital focus (at least 2 years of work experience in Mainland China preferred);
Previous experience in the retail environment, familiar with in-store VM and consumer engagement visual execution;
Excellent in English; Mandarin speaker/ Chinese reader is preferred;
Highly digital savvy;
Expert knowledge of social/digital platforms/environment, including China and Korea;
Excellent organizational and communications skills;
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
Strong problem solving skills;
Good creative eye and ability to make creative judgments in accordance with preferences of global creative and brand standards;
Ability to lead teams or others through a project from inception to completion;
Self-starter who can identify needs and find answers independently;
Knowledge of regional third party resources, industry trends, emerging technologies;
Basic skills in MS Office, Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign;
Attention to detail and act as brand guardian.
