Position Summary:

Supports the APAC Skincare PD Team on all administrative duties with the opportunity to learn product development. Provides assistance to the VP of APAC Skincare Product Development when designated EA is unavailable.

Job Description:

  • Aesthetic evaluation of in-house product submissions.

  • Complete familiarity with brands’ products and positioning.

  • Conduct in-house walk-around product testing surveys.

  • Maintain up-to-date records and storage of development samples, pilot samples, and batch samples from R&D and vendors.

  • Purchase, log-in and maintenance competitive products; organize and issue competitive evaluations and write-ups; track new product launches and sales data; maintain competitive ad binder and electronic scans of ads.

  • Assist in gathering information and creating presentation boards/PowerPoint for all major competitive reviews and presentations.

  • Type recaps, memos, charts, etc. as needed.

  • Handle Office Administration requests for maintenance of the department (i.e. document shredding, product destruction, etc.).

  • Fax, copy, distribute/open mail and packages, and answer phones.

  • Schedule meetings and obtains conference rooms; ordering catering service when required and “setting up” as necessary.

  • Travel arrangements, car rental/service, expense reports.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or above

  • 2 – 4 years relevant experience in cosmetic industry or related field.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and team work spirit.

  • Highly organized with attention to details, deadlines, and quality of work.

  • Ability to critically analyze information and handle multiple tasks with discretion

  • Willing to immerse in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Must be flexible, proactive and an excellent problem-solver.

  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Interest in Cosmetics
