POSITION SUMMARY

Create re-usability framework to accelerate delivery; Move from monolithic deployment to common sets of retail technology services to the affiliate landscape:

  1. Identify readily available products and platforms to support business demand as and when needed.

  2. Identify products (i.e., Function, Consumer and customer facing solutions, along with their user-base, financial metrics, and usage)

  3. Identify and provision data feeds to the backend from retail operations.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, articulate and nurture opportunities at the intersection of Consumer need, Technical feasibility, and Business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain a network of partners, vendors, and consultants to ensure global-thinking and best-in-class capabilities.

  • Drives and facilitates the right discussions that identify business solutions in relation to current and future technology landscape

  • Partner with Retail IT Support teams to ensure production service levels are met at regional and Affiliate level.

  • Support the Retail IT lead and works closely with Domain architect and leaders to develop Retail Service roadmaps.

  • Alignment with corporate strategies through strong business and technical thought leadership

  • Effectively manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines with little need for escalation

  • To ensure the retail foundation capabilities are operating smoothly and scalable to all affiliates. These being:

  1. Point of Sale (ROS or existing POS, mPOS)

  2. Work with the POS Tech Lead to ensure all the compliance and scalability

  3. Networks

  4. Retail Technology Help Desk

  5. Workforce Management

  6. Traffic Counting

  7. Core Merchandising

  8. Training

  9. Loyalty and CRM

Qualifications

  • Bachelor /University level

  • Proficient in English, Chinese (Any additional Asian Language)

  • 10-12 years of work experience in digital or retail Technology roles.

  • Proactive, solutions-orientation with a history of solving complex problems

  • Significant experience managing complex digital products requiring strong leadership to align multiple teams and stakeholders

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to document requirements and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to execute methodically while also thinking strategically

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where innovative mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
