POSITION : Summer

Intern for Regional Transformation Project - launching a mobile-first workforce

management project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: At

ELC we are on a path of transforming our manual people management processes

at Retail to a best-in-class, mobile-first Workforce

Management System. This is one of the biggest focus projects for the Retail

organization across APAC, bringing together Employee data, local labor law

rules/compliance, employee availability, leave balance management, shift

changes, scheduling, commission calculations and ultimately a payroll file all

into one eco-system.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Communication

with the Regional Project Team

  • Communication

with the Market level Project Teams across the Region (Focusing on Korea,

Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan)

  • Participation

with the Regional Project Team in work as we conduct business

requirements gathering sessions

  • Support

in the preparation/adjust training materials for each market based on localized

changes to the Workforce Tool

  • Support

in the documentation of business process and help along with the Business Lead

for the project as we work through the project in multiple countries and drive

for process consistency in the region.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Developing

presentations for updating Project Teams and Senior Leadership

in key milestone meetings

  • Communicating

with

markets on milestone meetings/training sessions/content management

  • Supporting

the Business Lead with document creation and tracking for the project in each

country

  • Supporting

the

Business Lead with

training documentation edits as needed

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Interest in Human

Resources/Organizational Design and a passion for understanding business

operations and people process in organizations, digitally savvy, creative,

strong organizational and communication skills and a passion for working on a

groundbreaking project where you will learn and have an impact on the

organization at the same time.

Fluent in English both written and

spoken. Ideally in one other APAC language (Simplified Chinese, Traditional

Chinese, Japanese, Korean)

Fluent in Microsoft Office 365 Tools,

Excel, Power Point.
