Senior Consumer Engagement Manager, Clinique, Hong Kong

  • Responsible for consumer engagement marketing of

assigned category

  • Track and evaluate the performance of respective

categories. Provide recommendation and work with Marketing Manager to set objectives for respective

category growth

  • Formulate marketing, ATL, on-line, CRM campaigns to

achieve set objectives for respective product categories

  • Formulate support strategies for program bulletins

and propose product and samples forecast usage plan to achieve marketing


  • Responsible for product and samples forecast usage

plan to achieve marketing objectives

  • Propose and work on programs to broaden product

usage of existing database (e.g. Repromote campaigns) as well as on new

customer acquisition

  • Monitor stock level of respective categories and

work closely with Marketing Services to ensure enough stock cover for key

products and minimize out-of-stock situation

  • Develop briefing documents for advertising agency

on marketing programs and ensure the set objectives are being met

  • Work closely and negotiate with advertising agency,

media agency and production house on product launches and marketing programs

  • Develop, plan and implement consumer events to

support key franchise

  • Identify joint promotion opportunities with brands,

institutions and media whenever and whichever appropriate

  • Closely monitor the planning and execution of all

marketing programs to be on track with timeline

  • Work closely with Sales & Education to employ

useful on-counter selling tools and to ensure the proper use of counter

collaterals to reinforce selling

  • Review marketing program results, quantitative and

qualitative, hare learning-success and areas for improvement and


  • Control and monitor spending associated with

product categories

  • Monitor competitors’ advertising, launch and

promotional activities

  • Prepare competitive analysis reports on specific

topics upon regional team’s request

  • Collect and track data for new product launches and

fill in monthly reports with findings to regional team

  • Negotiate with Media sales for PR coverage to

maximize products exposure in key categories

  • Work closely with other functions i.e. Retail

marketing, VM, Sales and Education, corporate and regional team to ensure perfect

execution of programs


  • University graduate in Marketing or equivalent

  • 7-8 years of relevant experience retail/cosmetics

or advertising industry

  • Pleasant, pro-active and a passion for excellence

  • Strong co-ordination and interpersonal skills;

creative and attention to details

  • Experience and track record in the cosmetics and

retail industry a definite advantage

  • Exceptional presentation, leadership and

interpersonal skills

  • Proven fluency in spoken and written English &
