Position Summary

To work with Regional Director in marketing related projects with focus on digital and social platform for Smashbox brand in order to build, strengthen and grow the brand in the APAC Region.

Job Description

1) Digital/ Social Regional Strategy (60%)

a. Lead and drive the regional social/ digital engagement strategy in collaboration with global. Utilize the knowledge and work with countries and coach them to deliver optimum results.

b. Drive brand awareness, engagement and transaction across ecosystem channel.

c. Drive the regional influencer (consumer and artist) strategy. Ensure countries put maximum spending priority and have a mix of paid, earned and owned influencers to get the impression and engagement

d. Amplify the amplifier – coach countries and retailers on ways how they can amplify the content generated by tie up or influencers to maximize use of asset.

e. Video – help countries and retailers to deliver user generated videos which then can be boosted via own channel

f. Coach countries and retailers how to maximize the use of global Digital/Social Playbook and social tactics. Share best practice and elevate the overall level digital/social capability in APAC, while increasing local relevancy of our brand.

g. Work with Global to get the maximum understanding of the Digital/Social Playbook. Develop new asset and campaign as needed to meet local needs utilizing the global asset.

h. Work with agencies to seed Chinese influencers to gain awareness with Chinese consumers traveling to markets within the traveling corridor and TR

2) Digital/ Social Content Creation (20%)

i. Work with influencers and drive user generated content that is locally relevant for APAC

j. Work with global brand to develop on-brand, locally relevant social/digital content

3) Consumer Engagement (10%)

a. Act as a central coordinating point for all markets in the region, including sending out key information and deadlines

b. Assist in follow up for market and Smashbox Brand HQ enquiries, including cascading of

communication to markets and gathering inputs from markets

c. Work with Product & Retail Marketing Manager on various regional 360 marketing projects

d. Compile recap all new launches and analyze vs. comparable launches or brand direction;

e. Help regional director prepare regional reports

f. Work with the markets to coordinate Market Visits, either inter region or US visitors;

g. Handle special projects as directed by the Regional Director;

4) Education resource (10%)

a. Work with markets to understand Asia-specific needs for educational materials

b. Work with global education team to infuse locally relevant insight into educational materials


University Degree;

4 years in Social/ digital experience, either in agency or with another brand;

Fluent in English & Mandarin;

Passion for beauty and cosmetics
