Position Summary

Drive the e-commerce business in the region by providing guidance and direction to the affiliates on ways to grow the OL business on a brand by brand basis. Work with Regional brand and global Online (and Brand) teams to identify opportunities and initiatives to grow the Online business while ensuring alignment with brand teams in the regional office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Achieving the NS targets through setting the right strategies and priorities and robust execution for each of our brands in each of the markets

  • Manage the team to drive sales, profits and other metrics for the success of the business

  • Strategically lead the Online business all brands in the cluster through

  • providing direction and oversight to the Sr Online managers in their team

  • having deeper and full ownership of the Core brands under their responsibility

  • Work with multiple internal stakeholders: Global, Regional Brands and Functions, Affiliate General Management/Brands/Online teams. Influence the right parties and leverage resources available in order to achieve the business goals in a matrix environment

  • Partner with different Brands, Affiliates and key partners/portals to identify new opportunities and develop detailed recommendations for implementation

  • Reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding and resource requirements

  • Directs and coordinates activities of resources to identify and schedule individual project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks ensure progresses on schedule and within budget

  • Manage and lead individual projects in both development and on-going maintenance

  • Manage the team’s T&E and other budget


Skills & Requirements

  • University Degree with minimum 12 years working experience with at least 5 years’ experience in online business at a consumer brand/e-tailer/retailer in one or more of the SEA markets

  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce environment and consumers, as well as the possible technologies and vendors will enable the company to build a successful e-commerce in this high-growth, populous region

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Managing multiple stakeholders effectively through the right balance of managing expectations and at the same time delivering the appropriate service level

  • Track record of delivering results in a matrix organization

  • Proficient in English
