Video Production Manager
Reports to:Director, Photo & Video Production
Too Faced is looking for an experienced Video Production Manager who has a passion for video and new media production and is completely immersed in this space. The Video Production Manager is responsible for managing the video production at every point in the video production process to schedule, direct, track, and publish successful creative projects. This position collaborates with Too Faced cross-functional marketing team to define the scope of projects, support the production of those projects and to coordinate their publication to a variety of digital platforms. The right candidate will have a compelling perspective on the future of media and digital communications with a passion for creative digital storytelling.
This position will be bnased in our Irvine, CA office. No remote work is optional.

THIS IS HOW YOU WORK IT:
Sets and attends kick-off and discovery meetings, bringing appropriate resources as needed.
Works with the video producer vendor and in-house staff to define and schedule equipment and crew needs for shoots to include, creating call sheets, attend and assist in video shoots
Responsible for Too Faced Video Production from conception to completion
Managing and developing Video Production staff including, establishing priorities, coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
Prepares creative brief for each project with the input of stakeholders, which includes the scope of deliverables and project goals
Secures cost approvals for external resources and tracks invoices through accounts payable
Project management, setting and tracking milestones and deliverables of all video projects in various stages of production
Ensure video shoots are on schedule, including capturing proper photo shot and managing models
Ensure all requirements and approvals are met before final version of videos are published
Maintains communication throughout project with cross-functional teams and internal clients for early detection of issues
Keep up-to-date records for each project in workflow database and ensures proper file archiving
Within published files, maintains a file structure across technological platforms that is consistent and organized
Maintains a comprehensive list of approved videos for publication by international region, audience and point of publish
Manages the translation process as needed for international versions of videos
Manages all YouTube advertising and publishing of videos to YouTube platform with appropriate tagging of videos
Must have ability to make monthly recommendations based on measurable metrics for Too Faced’s YouTube channel on “views reports” which includes views, traffic sources, audience retention reports and “engagement reports” including subscribers and annotations.
THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF:
College Degree in marketing or related field of study preferred
Minimum 5-years of progressive video production experience with creative, engaging storytelling demonstrated through work samples.
Must have minimum of 2-3-years prior experience in leading, developing and motiving a team.
Knowledge of Video Production from conception to completion, preferable in cosmetics.
Experience and demonstrated knowledge of working within a video production team.
Must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously that are in different stages of production and track the unique needs of each project.
Must be process-driven but flexible, resourceful, decisive and proactive.
Excellent people, time and project management skills. Ability to work well with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Strong meeting skills, with the ability to work professionally with internal and external clients.
