Online Retail/ Omni Channel Manager

  • Drive growth of Online Retailers, Pure Players and 3rd Party platforms, and acceleration of Omni Channel programs.

  • Support the online retail coordinators in planning, coordinating and facilitating Online Retail activities, with aim of accelerating Brands' sales via Retailers’, Pure Players and 3rd Party online platforms.

  • Identify/foster further Brands' Online ecommerce opportunities via retailers and 3rd party platforms in close partnership with local and regional stakeholders.

  • Omni-channel functionality and customer loyalty/reward/CRM opportunities via online channels are key focuses for this role, be it via ELC’s own CRM framework, or within Retailer’s reward programs.


Ensure Customer and Market Growth

  • Work with Brands and Online retail Coordinators to determine retailers specific online shopping marketing calendars and programs to drive sales, accelerate Brands' share of voice opportunities, and provide commercial points of differentiation versus own Brand sites and in-store commercial offers

  • Ensure timeliness of implementation of refresh schedules, online sales & marketing calendar for Retail Partners/3rd Party ecommerce stores; including supply of products/digital advertising assets.

  • Provide guidance on content creation for monthly refreshes and digital production agency when applicable.

  • Oversee and validate retailers/3rd Party online forecasting, such as for gift sets, including budgeting/allocation with Brand and regional teams

  • Liaise with necessary internal and external parties to ensure regular update of interactive tools where applicable in line with relevant product launches

  • Ensure correct implementation with Retail/3rd Party partners, performing Q&A and ongoing Brand boutiques validation – liaising with local and regional Brand/Online teams when needed.

  • Support Brands’ retail and online strategy using digital marketing channels, online activations, CRM and omnichannel opportunities

  • Continuously look for additional online Brand retail opportunities to increase contribution of Retailer Online sales to total Online retail performance

Manages Operational effectiveness

  • Oversee and manage the Online Retailer/3rd Party P&Ls in conjunction with Online Retail coordinators and Brand team

  • Work closely with retailers/3rd Party to ensure timely submission of Sales reports

  • SEM and Display advertising

  • Continuously monitor authorized Retailers and pure players presence and performance via performance media

  • Liaise with online team members to identify trade marketing opportunities around key launches/promotional activities

  • Campaign Management

  • Review on a weekly basis Campaign Schedules with Online team, ensuring retailers specific campaigns are planned in conjunction with ELC’s own Online or Retailer digital marketing communications

  • Project Management

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Online Retail coordinator in terms of Managing the launch and implementation of new online brand boutiques with retailers and 3rd Parties to drive incremental sales and increase ELC’s direct to consumer reach.

Improves Business Processes

  • Responsible for ensuring adherence with ELC financial and Supply Chain processes, to ensure proper forecasting and budget management.

  • Ensure budget spend efficiency

  • Create monthly and ad hoc reports to analyze marketing results. Run analysis of sales, traffic and conversion, and provide management report in SIOP meetings

  • Develop and manage ongoing strong relationship with retailers’ Online/marketing/merchandising teams to ensure that ELC brands benefit from strong visibility and support to drive recruitment and sales



  • The Online Retail /Omni Channel Manager is a head office based position, but travelling to, and spending time in, Retail Stores will be required on an ad-hoc basis, as per nature of projects implemented. Limited Regional Travel may be required from time to time.

  • Keen interest in Retail innovation to improve customer experience via new online and Omni channel services

  • Be commercially minded, to drive sales revenue opportunities across online retail channels

  • Strong negotiation capability essential, to align retail partners and ELC stakeholders (local and regional) in collaborative partnerships

  • Solid project management capability and experience essential.

  • Semi-Technical ability to perform online content refresh within existing frames and templates

  • In depth understanding of consumer engagement via digital and social media platforms

  • Marketing Degree/ Online Qualification
