Aramis & Designer Fragrances Communications and Consumer Engagement Manager

Brand: Aramis and Designer Fragrances


Lead and implement Communications Social Media, influencers led strategy across all ADF Brands. Act as an authoritative source of information to influencers journalists, broadcast media, online and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Communications, Social Media and Influencers strategy for Aramis and Designer Fragrances product launches and events in line with the brand aims and objectives

  • Monitor Results and Make full use of evaluation tracker for plotting/targeting all launches to ensure results orientated ROI

Lead all Digital Marketing and Social Media initiatives for the ADF Brand Portfolio

  • Define the digital strategy in conjunction with the brand to deliver innovation and increase the brands digital presence within the wider marketing and online strategy.

  • Liaise with Global Brand Digital Team & strategy and responsible for influencing program development, to ensure it fits with the UK strategy and local objectives

  • Launch and manage priority digital marketing programs. Brief required campaigns into the media agency and, where required, creative agency, manage the response to brief and proposal approval and development. Lead on campaign implementation, optimisation and reporting with the support of the digital coordinator.

  • Develop Aramis & Designer Fragrances UK Social Media strategy, and defining KPIs/Measurement, up the brands Social Media activity. Build and sustain relevant communities that develop brand love through wise use of content and a responsive brand voice.

  • Identify new digital innovations, social media channels and media first opportunities and define if and how the brand should engage

  • Identify and implement opportunities across all digital channels (mobile, tablet, wearables, and desktop) to drive consumer engagement for both retention and acquisition


  • Create and develop a publishing and digital Communications plan Ensuring strong coverage in national and consumer press for new product launches and events in line with the brand objectives Make full use of evaluation tracker for plotting/targeting all launches to ensure results orientated ROI.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key press contacts – giving special priority to Beauty Editors, Grooming media and relevant Beauty Directors.

  • Drive supplement coverage and key retailer publications.

  • Instigate brainstorming for new or re-launched products and involve other departments where relevant to ensure maximum input of ideas.

  • Pro-actively investigate and identify opportunities in addition to new product launches to promote the brand and its services.

  • Be aware of upcoming features and opportunities and pro-actively look for relevant interview/quotation placement, always working with Marketing Director and Global Communications to ensure media and quotes are appropriate.

  • Work alongside Marketing Director, and always keeping Global up-to-date, on organisation of press launch events.

Retailer Marketing

  • Support Product Marketing Manager with the implementation of sampling campaigns

  • Work alongside Online Marketing Manager to ensure Social Media & Digital campaigns are aligned with VPPs & Retailer.coms Strategy and retail performance

Budget Management

  • Manage PR/ Consumer Engagement Budget working closely with Finance Team. Ensure all launches, events, etc. keep within budget and Procurement/PO Systems are followed


  • Proven experience in PR, Communications, Social Media & Paid Media

  • You will have a strong understanding of the digital workspace

  • You will have a passion for the beauty industry and previous experience in make-up, skincare, or fragrance would be advantageous

  • You will have a challenger mindset and love working in a dynamic environment

  • You will be extremely collaborative
