Clinique - Promotion & Events Coordinator

This role is responsible for

supporting the manager in delivering the marketing strategies for our flagship stores

and retailers, supporting on our promotional programs and events (Clinique Gift,

retailer events).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, development and implementation of our Clinique Gift activity across all retailers

  • Work closely with the Promotions manager to support the execution on GWP and other promotions on the brand

  • Support on all the forecast and planning for all GWP requirements for the brand twice a year

  • Support on the management of gift for key retailers, and oversee implementation for all other retailers

  • Coordinate all the elements for a succesful implementation of relevant retailer gift programs

  • Support the manager in creating all collateral for all retailers and manage timelines with suppliers

  • Support the manager on the Bonus Time master, coop budgets and GWP budget

  • Prepare in-depth post-campaign analysis for each retailer and overall results tracker

  • Support on the execution of marketing programs to support our Flagship store strategy

  • Help on the implementation of trade marketing calendar for each of our flagship retailers: Selfridges, Brown Thomas, Harrods, John Lewis Oxford St, Debenhams W1 and Boots top doors

  • Manage implementation of these plans with the support of the manager

  • Work closely with sales team and key contacts at each retailer to understand their upcoming programs and how we can work within their themes

  • Execute engaging marketing events (i.e. illustrator, engraving…) and associated collateral and media support

  • Develop bespoke collateral for service events and activities

  • Work with the manager on exclusives strategy, from forecasting to pricing, launching and performance analysis Project manage exclusive launches and activities liaising with the Product Marketing Team

  • Explore new opportunities to engage with these flagship consumers

  • Create reporting documents to track, monitor and optimize activities

  • Work closely with NAM, field and education teams to execute with excellence

  • Support on the trade marketing initiatives with our retailer partners and corporate (Smile events, Dept Events, Points Events…)

  • Liaise with sales team to understand all retailer events

  • Project manage additional retailer programmes, building relationship with retailers & ensuring brand identity maintained

  • Develop retailer specific collateral for key trading periods.

  • Prepare result reporting as well as suggest future suggestions.

  • Oversee sampling management & planning for all key eventing and flagship doors

  • Oversee all beauty boxes (excluding corporate boxes) to recruit new consumers



  • Experience in a marketing environment working across trade marketing / promotions and events in an FMCG environment

  • Enjoys working in fast-paced environment and handles pressure well.

  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible and able to handle multitude of projects at one time.

  • Excellent organisational, analytical and computer skills required, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Very strong communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • A positive, can-do attitude.

  • Team player.
