Jo Malone London has an exciting opportunity for a Global Creative Windows Manager with a strong creative spirit, an innovative approach to design and a desire to work with a leading Global Luxury Fragrance House. The role works closely with the VM Director on the design and implementation of the global window roll-outs, creating engaging and show-stopping schemes which support the creative vision of the Jo Malone London brand.

The Global Creative Windows Manager will be responsible for taking design from concept through to implementation, sourcing all assets for the roll out of a global window scheme. The role is multi-faceted and includes project management, resolving design, space and budget challenges as well as innovative creative thinking.

The ideal candidate will be well organized, have strong communication skills, have a true passion for great design and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, creatively driven environment.

Duties include :

  • Support the VM Director in the design and development of engaging windows and in-store environment for all Jo Malone London campaign launches.

  • Demonstrating a technical understanding of materials, costs and time requirements on all global projects

  • Project management of all phases of the windows roll-out including production design, visualisations and 3D rendering, prototyping, Global communication guidelines and final execution

  • Present ideas in clear and presentable 3D renders for internal and external use

  • Work with vendors to develop high end window props which can be sourced on a global scale

  • Create detailed instruction/construction documents and send material proofs to all markets for accurate local production

  • Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing to offer window props through the global offering process

  • Understand the complexity of the windows portfolio and needs of the global markets to ensure the materials and execution methods are fit for purpose

  • When required visit relevant markets to provide support in window implementation and to gather a better understanding of their local/cultural requirements

  • Adapt window design assets to cater for tiered budgets and store formats – Flagship, Image and Core doors

  • Regularly research trends in global culture, retail design, architecture, fashion, art, furniture and materials. Build and maintain an archive of visual inspiration and material samples

Qualifications

  • BA degree or higher, and a strong design eye with an artistic soul and can-do attitude

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Must demonstrate an understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, proposing compelling and plausible design solutions that can be achieved technically and within timing/budgetary limitations

  • Practical skills for creating hand-made comps, supporting in-store installations and events

  • Must be proficient with all MAC platforms, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign. SketchUp and VRay

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, passion and interest in art, design and fashion

  • Excellent research and presentation skills
