Retail Applications Support
Brand: Estée Lauder Companies
We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Retail Operations team at Estee Lauder Companies.
The role is to oversee the optimisation of the numerous applications within our stores and also those in development. This will involve the reviewing and managing of the applications available in the retail portfolio.
Specific responsibilities include:
Being the functionality expert and point of contact for the brands and wider business
Working with the Retail Analyst to establish KPIs and measure against them, plus developing usage and exception reporting
Using all information available to ensure optimal usage
Management of enhancements, and associated PMs (where applicable)
Management of technical resolution
Sharing findings/knowledge with stores and brands, providing them with the support needed to maximise the benefits of the retail offering
The applications include EPOS, Mobile POS, OCT, Appointment Booking, WFM and traffic counting.
The position would suit someone who is analytical in nature, as it involves constant evaluation of the existing estate, identifying any weaknesses and opportunities for enhancement.
In tandem with Retail Education, the successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and providing best practice operational procedures, considering both the consumer and consultant. They will strive to ensure provision of the best ‘retail experience’.
This role ties closely with Retail Development, and will involve working closely with project teams to understand applications that are in development, and how these can be supported. An interest in advancements in the retail arena would therefore be of benefit.
The role requires working within a busy team, supporting numerous stakeholders. The successful candidate must have the ability to manage their own time and appropriately prioritise tasks to meet the needs of the business.
Candidates must have awareness of operational processes within a retail environment; as well as knowledge of the systems and applications currently in our stores. Of a particular benefit would be an understanding of the purpose of these retail applications and how they interlink.
This role could be base in either Fareham or London, but the ability to travel regularly between the two sites is essential.
