Retail Talent Acquisition Advisor - 3 month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Talent Acquisition Advisor to join the team on a 3 month contract, to support the in-take of Christmas Temps for our Brands over the Christmas period.

You will provide a pragmatic and pro-active Retail Talent Acquisition service across all ELC Brands and deliver a best in class ‘High Touch’ professional service, by supporting the shortlisting of candidates against specific roles / brands and hours for vacancies across the UK and ROI.

In addition, you will foster strong working relationship with the field area sales managers and wider business to ensure we are meeting their business requirements within pre-determined timelines.

  • Prioritise the sifting of applications from website, ensuring applicant is fully aware of progress / next steps

  • Ensure high calibre applicants are forwarded to brands in required timescale.

  • Posting of vacancies within set timeframe

  • Correspondence with candidates throughout the process - interviews / assessments days, query resolution, advice, cancellations, amendments, withdrawals etc

  • Daily management of talent acquisition enquiries & applications

  • Uses professional and customer-focused approach to handle candidate enquiries.

  • Ensures confidentiality where appropriate, including the protection of sensitive company reports or information.

  • Demonstrates excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and correct sentence structure to document cases in the case management system / letter / email.

  • Uses excellent verbal communication including proper grammar, tone, and a clear speaking voice to ensure solid communication with the customer via phone.

  • General administration support to ensure an excellent candidate experience


The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good Excel and Word skills, be a conscientious team player with excellent listening and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.

  • Agency / In-house recruitment experience managing a high volume and varied workload will be highly desirable

  • Available to start beginning of October

  • Excellent customer service focus and manner

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to learn new systems

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple requests in a timely manner
