The Online Coordinator plays a crucial role supporting the Smashbox brand website and eRetail presence, helping drive the brand’s online strategy forward while ensuring a best-in-class consumer experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

eCommerce and User Journey

  • Work closely with the Online Manager & Assistant Manager to define site content in accordance with the UK Marketing Calendar and Seasonal Focuses

  • Set up products and offers and ensure everything is thoroughly tested ahead of go-live

  • Be the team lead on all new site functional & content enhancements ensuring the site is visually impactful and effective at converting users to purchase

  • Brief design concepts and ideas into the creative team

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve the customer journey and site experience, and manage the execution of all local initiatives - briefing the UK Production team, obtaining Global approval and performing rigorous QA

  • Create weekly and monthly online reports for the team to review performance

  • Work closely with the Events Management team to set up website saleable stock allocations, escalating and resolving any discrepancies

  • Constantly monitor and evolve co.uk to ensure the site is fully optimized for all devices

eRetail and Pure Plays

  • Create new line forms for each eRetailer and Pure Play site.

  • Conduct weekly brand audits on all eRetail and Pure Play sites ensuring a consistent brand messaging and site exposure.

  • Send eRetailers and Pure Plays site assets in-line with site exposure agreements.

  • Brief in monthly brand refreshes on all our brand rooms.

Customer Retention & Recruitment

  • Build all brand emails and report back to the team on a weekly basis

  • Constantly think of new ways to recruit new customers to the brand and build loyalty with existing customers to keep them with the brand

  • Build social ads in Facebook business manager and work with the agency to get these live in a timely manner.

Site Updates

  • Ensure all products are set up correctly and merchandised effectively and Offer Codes are set-up and tested thoroughly

  • Conduct daily site audits on co.uk to ensure all products are in stock, the user journey is perfect and checkout is working as it should be

Qualifications

  • A passion for makeup & beauty

  • Proven e-commerce experience, ideally within the retail industry

  • Strong copywriting skills, a creative mind set and flawless attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to work collaboratively across departments and functions e.g. PR, Social Media, Marketing, Events, Education.

  • Results driven with a challenger mind-set and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Highly organized, proactive and a flexible approach to work

  • Works well under pressure and manages time effectively to prioritize to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytics skills, with significant experience using Google Analytics and other ecommerce reporting tools

  • Experience of working with Drupal websites is desirable but not mandatory
