Store Designer - Travel Retail EMEA

An

exciting opportunity has arisen within Travel Retail Europe, Middle East &

Africa (EMEA) to recruit a Store Designer to be based in the London Offices

reporting to the Store Design Manager. This role will support the Store Design

Team across all brands and projects pending on priorities. The ideal candidate

will have a good technical design knowledge and have a passion for retail

design and understand the current luxury beauty industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Applyand adapt Global Store Design Concept Guidelines to regional stores andcounters for various brands within the Estée Lauder brand portfolio acrossairports, aquatics and other duty-free areas in EMEA

  • Produceconcept sketches, presentation drawings and technical drawings to communicatedesign intent for internal approval, external retailer approval and workclosely with external contractors to review and approve construction drawingsprior to manufacture

  • Driveinnovation at store level, build in store brand consistency within the region

  • Coordinateinternal/ external project validation

  • Liaisingwith internal departments and retailers in order to provide locally relevantdesigns to be designed and installed on time and budget

  • Collaboratewith the Visual Merchandising team to ensure successful integration of Visual Merchandisingneeds in navigation, display and collateral elements

Qualifications

  • InteriorDesign, Architecture or Furniture Design degree

  • StrongVectorWorks and Adobe CS skills, 3D rendering skills preferred

  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellentorganisation skills, quality execution and attention to detail is key

  • Abilityto work well in a team environment, contribute ideas, interact with otherdepartments to obtain information

  • Abilityto prioritise and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-phased,collaborative environment

  • Flexibilityand problem-solving skills are essential

  • Fluentin English, other languages welcome

Travel

Retail is a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and candidates

should have a positive, flexible, hands-on and committed approach.

Occasional

travel may be required.
