Manager, Consumer Engagement Product Mangement

Description

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Consumer Engagement Product Manager is accountable for partnering with Business and IT Stakeholders to manage the Consumer Engagement Technology ecosystem which includes the Consumer Data Platform (CDP), Campaign Management Tools, Analytics through Reports and Dashboards, and the ongoing measurement of ROI for technology investments which drive consumer acquisition and retention.

In particular, this position requires a strong analytical mindset and key management skills to lead the development activities required to bring the marketing technology platforms and products to life.

Furthermore, the Product Lead must be able to drive product adoption by leveraging key change management, communication and stakeholder management principles.

INITIATION

-Create Product roadmap with short-term and longer-term milestones aligned with our Strategy

-Develop business cases in collaboration with business teams, formulate plans, estimate resources and identify timing for execution

-Define project organization & methodology (internal vs outsourced, agile vs waterfall)

-Build a Proof of Concept when required

EXECUTION

-Partner with teams to write Product Requirements Documentation listing features (both back and front-end) vision, metrics/KPIs, data sources, detailed design…

-Ensure design of solution features includes data architecture, user interface and user experience

-Coordinate sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases accurately portray specific business needs

-Drive solution selection process e.g. RFI/RFP, review vendors

-Supervise Product development and testing, manage dependencies across departments and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery

LAUNCH

-Manage business stakeholder communication with the proper level of detail

-Organize training sessions for IT and Business users, as needed

-Facilitate transition to support teams

Qualifications

ANALYTICS

-Define, monitor and analyze key adoption/engagement indicators

-Suggest and promote product enhancements based on the above

-Extensive experience in Global project management and software Product management ideally within large-scale organizations

-Customer-oriented

-Proactive leadership to build strong rapport and relationship with cross-functional users and stakeholders as well as with on-shore and off-shore resources

-Ability to understand the business needs and translate them in to effective & efficient solutions designs

-Excellent communication skills, organized, self-motivated

TECHNOLOGY

-Experience in lead visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI

-Strong knowledge in traditional marketing KPIs such as CLV, A&P Spend, COCA, and email marketing performance

-Knowledge of CRM tools and concepts, such as Campaign Management, Segmentation, Campaign Automation

-Exposure to consumer data platforms

-Familiarity with marketing technologies such as social tools, loyalty programs, and clienteling technologies
