The Global Information Risk and Security (GIRS) team spearheads these efforts.
The GIRS Identity Security Manager focused on identity architecture will deploy target state architectures and roadmaps for Security Identity and Access Management (IAM). Additionally, this role is responsible for the establishing and implementing standards for business, application, data, and infrastructure architectural domains. This role collaborates with and guides technical employees, partners, and other IT teams to ensure that program and project architectures adhere to the standards, target state architectures, and roadmaps.
This individual will also serve as a technical and design advisor for new applications integrated into ELC’s IAM landscape for Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Single Sign-On (SSO), as well as, provide direct oversight of service providers to insure the integrity of the implemented design.
This role necessarily deals with highly confidential and sensitive information, and the role is expected to confirm to best handling practices.
The Global Information Risk and Security (GIRS) Identity Security Manager focused on identity architecture will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, IT, Brands, Regions, and Functions to architect cross-organizational solutions.
Specifically, the individual will:
Be responsible for deploying business-focused, IAM transformational initiatives.
Use a deep understanding of authentication tools/technologies to participate in defining the IAM strategy to transform ELC’s IAM landscape.
Using ELC’s Enterprise Architecture framework and processes, provide easily adoptable solutions.
Facilitates collaborative architecture development sessions with Product team, Operations, IT, GIRS, and other stakeholders.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert providing best-practice guidance on IAM processes and implementation approaches.
Research and analyze technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
Maintain a high level of personal integrity, including the ability to professionally handle confidential matters by executing the appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
Handle competing priorities, seeking consensus when stakeholders have different/contradicting opinions.
Mentor and provide guidance to other team members.
Experience in identity security, architecture, information technology, risk management, development, networking, business processes, privileged access control, and compliance. Experience integrating IAM applications with common identity stores (LDAP, Active Directory, relational databases, application servers, universal directory). Knowledge of IAM protocols such as SAML, OpenID, OAUTH, Kerberos, etc. and experience administrating specific identity management solutions. Experience deploying / administering any Cloud Identity Provider solutions is a plus. Expected to have completed at least one full lifecycle deployment of an IAM tool. Experience with compliance requirements (e.g. SOX, CSV, E-compliance, Records Management, Privacy).
Excellent track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on an enterprise scale. Constantly evaluating the evolving IT industry to be on top of the latest innovations in IT and performing fit-analysis of new technologies, sharing the same with key stakeholders.
Strong oral and written communication skills, influence/negotiation skills, analytical skills, and conflict management experience. Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, challenge the status quo, and manage ambiguity.
Ability to work during evenings or on weekends to support special tasks or projects. Adaptability to work in a global culture that includes a 24/7 support model. Potentially need to travel to support critical projects.
Experience with IT project management concepts and reporting. Proficient (oral and written) in English as a business language.
Experience handling, securing, and communicating highly confidential and sensitive information.
