The primary purpose of this position is to provide financial analysis across a number of GIS areas. This position will be a key participant in driving cost efficiency globally. This role will be a versatile player supporting a number of areas within GIS that are not individually large enough for their own dedicated financial analyst as well as global GIS projects and initiatives.

50% - Financial/Headcount/Consultant Analysis across multiple GIS departments including Global Security, VMO, PMO, SBP, and Office of the CIO. This role would develop cross functional analysis, create budgets and forecasts, long range plans and monthly variance analysis for both operating expenses and project spends.

20% - Development of financial scorecards and benchmark data

15% - Expense management opportunity analysis, baselining expenses and recommending and measuring savings initiatives

15% - Ad hoc presentations and analysis to support GIS strategy roadmap


  • Bachelor’s degree – Accounting / Finance / Management

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • MBA/CPA/CMA a plus

  • Direct experience in Financial Analytics, preferably in IT

  • Strong budget and reporting skills. Knowledge of CAPEX accounting theory a plus.

  • Adaptability, flexibility and willingness to be hands-on when needed

  • Self-reliant

  • Position will be interacting with Executive Director’s on their OPEX and Capital budgets. It is important to be able to communicate financial and accounting concepts with non-accounting and non-finance executives

  • Excellent Excel, SAP and Hyperion Reporting (Smartview) skills
