Summary

Manage day-to-day operations for brand influencer programs and relationships; With Global Consumer Engagement team, strategize, plan, and execute always-on and campaign-based digital influencer programs that will drive the most buzz, engagement, conversation, and conversion on social, as aligned with business objectives and goals. Build authentic relationships with existing and emerging digital influencers, fostering lasting connections between talent and brand. Understand and serve as “first to know” in brand’s influencer center of excellence: the influencer landscape, their social platforms, content creation patterns, and their relationships within the beauty industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to execute a digital influencer strategy for launch and always-on brand activities, including but not limited to strategic seeding, paid content and partnerships, meet-ups and visits.

  • Project manage organic and paid programs to ensure plans are on-time, within budget, and in alignment with brand marketing and commercial priorities. Work with cross-functional teams and serve as project point person for external agencies / vendors on projects from start to completion.

  • Manage master talent and mailing list, strengthening existing relationships, reaching out to up-and-coming talent, updating and optimizing network in real-time. Constantly comb through brand social to uncover digital influencers/consumer advocates who love the brand or who would be a brand fit.

  • Execute paid content and partnerships, from project kickoff, to outreach/talent identification, to negotiation, to agreement execution to services execution. Must be comfortable liasing with agency partners, talent management, and legal.

  • Support event execution: secure influencers for key brand events and intimate gatherings

  • Liaise with regional teams to share key learnings and collateral opportunities; Help ensure regional efforts align with global strategy.

  • Stay on the cutting-edge of digital/social trends, including monitoring competitors and innovative non-beauty verticals such as entertainment. Proactively monitor influencer activity across social to report on trends, content and collaborations to get ahead of the next “big idea.” Serve as the “first to know” in brand’s influencer center of excellence; sharing industry and social influencer updates, and big hits from key tastemakers with larger team in real-time. Contribute to team brainstorms and campaign ideation.

  • Make timely, impactful recommendations for digital activations and partnerships that will help grow the brand, based on research and relationship-building.

  • Monitor metrics on a daily basis via digital listening dashboards (e.g., Tribe Dynamics) to evaluate program effectiveness against brand KPIs; synthesize learnings to adapt and optimize programs and best practices for most impact in formal reports and in real-time.

  • Liaise with key corporate stakeholders and social analytics partners to understand any new metrics that have been identified as critical, and help standardize analysis throughout the corporation.

  • Demonstrate enthusiastic, 24/7 approach to responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Team player with ability to interface with many departments, senior management, vendors, and agencies

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with project and campaign management

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and agencies/vendors seamlessly

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, and strong creative judgement to recognize what is on brand and on trend

  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to interpret data for real-time optimization; knowledge of key social media. Understanding of paid media/social advertising a plus.

  • Active daily life in digital and social media, very digitally savvy and curious, passionate about pop culture and social, enthusiastic about forging relationships with influencers and tastemarkers

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.

  • 3-4 years related experience, e.g., social media, influencer relations and program management

  • Branding/beauty experience a plus.
