Summary

In this role, you will contribute to growing the brand’s presence on all social and digital platforms, fostering consumer relationships and act as a key conduit to driving our digital success. You’ll stay on the pulse of all things social, spot new beauty trends and emerging platforms in the digital space, react to consumer needs in real-time, and support the global consumer engagement team in executing best in class social strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support consumer engagement team with distribution of approved social media calendar content; publish content across all key platforms with sharp attention to detail. Execute Instagram Stories / live content.

  • Help engage consumers and influencers throughout social to drive favorable brand conversations and consumer relationships via diligent community management. Respond to questions and comments with speed and judgment, escalating issues as needed; identify trends in consumer comments and funnel information to the appropriate teams.

  • Scour platforms for on-brand UGC in real time for potential social calendar inclusion.

  • Support social listening efforts and contribute to metrics reports using standardized tools and craft analyses based on the data.

  • Help monitor all international accounts for adherence to guidelines and escalate flags to team; help schedule regular touch-bases with counterparts in key markets, as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date on new social platforms and tools; assist with monitoring competitors and other social media leaders for learnings, insights and best practices to remain a leader in the corporation and industry.

  • Assist with the administration and planning of social shoots; track and source product and props for digital shoots and contribute to creative brainstorms. Help track consumer engagement product inventory for mailings.

  • Demonstrate 24/7 approach to responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proactivity and “can-do” attitude in all assignments. Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with ability to interface with many departments and senior management.

  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and platforms / communities.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Strong quantitative skills; knowledge of key social media.

  • Excellent judgment to drive optimal brand engagement in communities and identify/escalate potential issues/crises.

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.

  • 2 years related experience, e.g., social media and community management

  • Active daily life in digital and social media, very digitally savvy, passionate about pop culture and social

  • Branding/beauty/fashion/entertainment experience a plus.
