Position Summary:

Global HR Business Partners (GHRBP) provides strategic counsel, advisory and consultative services to business leaders on business and people related issues. They provide input to business strategy from a people management and organizational design perspective. They provide business-driven input to Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Employee Services (ES), enabling them to create business focused solutions. GHRBPs lead other HR Partners to bring the right mix of services to the businesses they support.


  • Interact with senior business managers and provide strategic advice on people issues and HR needs

  • Develop the Brand HR strategic plan and objectives while collaborating with Regional HR to understand brand affiliate business conditions and priorities

  • Act as ambassador for overall Brand HR strategy and educate global HR Service Delivery Model (Business Partner’s, Centers of Excellence and Employee Services) employees

  • Partners with senior business managers to embed and evolve the people element of the business strategy

  • Manage the global talent planning process while creating global succession charts in collaboration with Regional HRBP

  • Monitor and ensure senior business managers are utilizing succession planning

  • Accountable for the succession planning reporting while partnering with Regional HRBP

  • Oversee and drive the global delivery and execution of HR programs and services in a consistent manner with Brand, Function or Regional relevancy and based on a deep understanding of the global business strategy, environment and the people management implications

  • Assess new training needs aligned with global business needs

  • Collaborate with the Regional HRBP’s to Design, implement and manage effective Employee Relations programs for brand senior management within the Regions

  • Collaborate with key leaders within the HR Service Delivery Model (BP’s, CoE’s and ES) to ensure key HR programs are globally aligned and delivered to the Brand, Function or Geography effectively and efficiently.

  • Measure, monitor and hold their organization accountable for HR service delivery alignment, performance, measurement and quality

  • Identify global trends within the Brand, Function or Geography and validates issues for action within the HR Service Delivery Model.

  • Develop Brand, Function or Geographic global workforce plans in line with business requirements

  • Accountable for driving organizational effectiveness and establishing organization structure guidelines

  • Manage the workforce plans during the budget cycle while partnering with Regional HRBP to understand regional requests

  • Lead global business counterparts through large-scale people and/or change management initiatives including business transformations, organization design/evolution/development, restructuring, etc.

  • Design global brand organizational structures based on business priorities and channel of distribution while partnering with Regional HRBP to ensure Local and Regional relevancy

  • Coach Managers in leading global/regional teams, living corporate values and conforming to global standard policies/processes.


Skills/Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 8 years of years of experience in a strategic global HR function

  • Leadership role in human resources with global business experience

  • Strong background in creating HR strategy, talent planning (career management and succession planning), organizational design, workforce planning, training, employee relations, talent acquisition

  • Experience in business and management experience in strategic planning, resources allocation, managing remote locations in global organization

  • Proven record in management of complex matrix organization; building collaborative relationships

  • Business and management experience in strategic planning

  • Requires a pro-active individual with ability to influence and work independently

  • Ability to travel globally up to 20%
