  • Performing daily laboratory tasks to support the various fragrance evaluation programs and projects assigned to individuals on the FFREC team.

  • Generates & records data on repetitive & routine experiments with excellence.

  • Proficient in calibration, use & maintenance of standard lab equipment.

  • Assists on making routine batches following defined protocols & routine equipment. Conducts routine analysis on stability batches.

  • Conducts physical tests on batch samples vs defined specifications.

  • Maintain fragrance program calendars and coordinate and prepare all stability samples for testing and evaluation.

  • Manage warehouse data entry for fragrance retains using excel spreadsheets and RDS reports.

  • Prepare/ compound samples for stability testing and to be sent to product development.

  • Send fragrance samples to external and internal departments as needed.

  • Organize all incoming mail; record and manage log, assign paperwork to samples, coordinate new samples with chemists.

  • Manage all lab supplies and coordinate with warehouse.

  • Manage all incoming fragrances for new skincare briefs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Decision Making (10%) – Responsible for daily laboratory organization and maintenance including setting up equipment and samples for scientist.

  • Problem Solving (10%) – some problems the individual may be tasked with is ensuring the laboratory is organized and functional for the team to work most efficient.

  • Independence of Action and Accountability (50%) – Ensure daily stability samples are coordinated and scheduling is kept on time to meet timelines.

  • Budget Responsibility (20%) – Key person responsible for coordinating, aligning and ordering supplies and small equipment for the lab.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree

  • 0-2 years of experience

  • Laboratory experience, specifically working with liquids, hot plates, and mixers

  • Familiar with weighing and measuring individual ingredients

  • Proficient in data entry and strong organizational skills.
