Manufacturing Support Technician - 2nd Shift (Wed-Sun)

Cleans, sanitizes, kits, repairs and maintains inventory of all filling and packaging equipment parts for production requirements.


  1. Maintains an up-to-date inventory of machine parts and supplies based on established maximum/minimum levels while employing a computerized Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Ensures that all items are located in their designated location and each is identified appropriately by part number, part name, supplier name, etc.

  2. Inspects returned tools and change parts for damage or wear, and generates requests for repairs and replacement parts using the computerized work order request form and purchase order request form system.

  3. Works from the production floor schedule and set up sheets to pre-kit set up parts for line changeovers.

  4. Maintains inventory and recommends purchase of detergents, sanitizers, tools and parts to maintain operation.

  5. Operates all equipment and machinery needed to wash and sanitize parts.

  6. Must follow all sanitization procedures.

  7. Maintains and stores records and technical manuals for all production equipment.

  8. Maintains a high level of safety and housekeeping in the Tool Crib and the Wash Room.

  9. Performs other duties as assigned and required


Bio Trace equipment, Better Engineering washer, hose washer, Lotoxane tank cleaner, pressure washer, caliper, micrometer, standard mechanical tools, computer, calculator.


  1. High School Diploma or equivalent

  2. Familiarity with stock room inventory, all machine parts and parts maintenance

  3. Able to handle detergents and sanitizers that have a high pH level and products that requires use of Personal Protection Equipment.

  4. Experience with Washing and Sanitizing Equipment

  5. Experience with Tool Crib Computer Systems

  6. Able to lift heavy parts with assistance

  7. Able to work in hot and humid conditions

  8. May be required to handle containers of hazardous waste

  9. Must be proficient in using Access, Excel, Word

  10. Must have and maintain an outstanding attendance record
